ZITHROMAX, STRATTERA AND KETEK LIVER DAMAGE CLAIMS
Antibiotics are routinely processed through the liver and this can sometimes cause liver damage. Zithromax (azithromycin) is a powerful antibiotic manufactured by Pfizer sold under the name "Z-pack". There are reports that Pfizer knew about potential side effects of Zithromax since 1998-99 but only changed their warning label when required by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to do so in 2000. Ketek is another powerful antibiotic linked to liver damage. On May 19, 2006 the FDA was able to link 12 cases of liver failure, which include four deaths to the antibiotic Ketek. Strattera is an ADHD drug linked to liver problems.
